The steady wind are not that much of a concern to us having spent a great deal of time in Oklahoma, City where the wind does not blow so gently down the plain at times.Northern Ohio, Lake Erie winters are brutal and now that we are free we will not be spending another one here. You will see us where the warm wind blows..as long as it is a warm wind..I think Yuma and Lake Havasu will be our first two stops then the RGV.

Dean,
Your right, Snohomish is our old stomping grounds. Mel grew up above the Mill Creek area, and I grew up in Msvl/Everett area. We are currently staying in Wenatchee/Chelan parks (with grandkids), and will be back over on the Western side the first of July. Maybe we can hook up sometime? We are planning to be back down to Yuma around the middle of September. We are having a pool built and want to be able to make sure everything goes well. I am experiencing what you mean about the weather here in WA. We have been traveling back and forth to get the kids in Lynnwood and your right, it's not at its best, it really is wet for this time of year. Which of course is why we are staying on the Eastern side of the Mountains!!

Yes, we will need to try to meet some how. We spent 6 days in WA state campgrounds near Wenatchee recently when we picked up our 3400RL. 3 days in Confluence State park dry camping and then 3 more days in Lincoln Rock state park with full hook-ups. Those two parks are great to park at but we didn't get to enjoy them as much as we wanted as we were consumed discovering & fixing birthing problems with the new RV. We hope to get back sometime when we can enjoy it more. Might not rain as much over there at a different time either.

If you come back to the West side on Highway 2 we are 7.5 miles N of Monroe in the Storm Lake area off of Mero. We are listed in the phone book. Maybe we could meet in Monroe for a cup of coffee on your return trip.
