Friction door

Anybody else had any problem with the friction door sticking and popping and being hard to open all the way any ideas except for silicone spray. Or is there a way to adjust them.

A friend of mine has a friction door on his unit. It is very hard to move it. Glad I do not have that feature (I would hate it). We looked for a way to adjust his to no avail. Who ever came up with that idea should be shot, LOL

Start of each season I silicone spray the hinges. No big deal.

For us the jury is still out on whether or not we will like it. It stays where you put it for sure. But it is hard to open and close. Not sure how it will be with the grandkids.

I kind of like mine. The only issue is not holding the door open in higher winds.

I actually like mine as it keeps the door from slamming against the rig in a light breeze. But then at 6'2" and 210# it isn't much for me to open it.
