Montana 375FL closet area

We bought a new 2016 375FL and love our rig. We only have one issue with it. The design of the closet causes our clothes to not stay on hanger. The shelf runs the entire width of the unit and is only supported by the base trim under the shelf. I would assume due to motion in the rear end has caused the closet rod to bend and the shelf has dropped down a little because of weight on this shelf.

Had anyone else experienced this type of problem and what did you do to fix?

The closet rod that came with our 2017 was very thin metal and went in the garbage along with the PLASTIC holders at each end.

The new rod is much heavier tubing with metal holders at each end along with a centre support. The new rod is also about 1/2 inch longer to fit more snug at each end.

The previous closet rod had to be cut out as there was no way to get it out of the closet due to the other mounted shelves. We replaced it with a wooden dowel rod that wasn't near as long and modified a couple of closet rod holders to keep in place. We had to brace up the shelves to keep the top shelf from tearing itself loose from the wall because of motion in the back end. We haven't taken it out since making our repairs but we will see how it goes. The top shelf in the closet because of its length should have been braced better to prevent this from happening. Montana makes a nice unit. Some items should have been supported better knowing what could possibly happen or damage that may happen as a result not doing so.
