Metal plates within walls

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not but I thought I would throw it out there.

At the local show the Keystone rep explained how heavy items such as cabinets are hung off metal plates in the walls. He showed us using his name badge how the metal plate sticks out a few inches from the edge of the cabinets and other items. Not everything you suspect has a plate behind it, but if needed it may be great for hanging a heavier item. This was shown in a '16 model year.

Yeah to bad they do not do that for the pantry shelves ,I had 2 of them fall down when driving down the road and dumped the food all over when I opened the door and had to reinforce them with L brackets underneath

And of course it's only logical to almost everyone, expect Keystone, that pantry shelves may carry some very heavy loads. We reinforced with L brackets as well after your experience.

Shoot, they could have done that with the heavy wood slide trim pieces and we wouldn't have had to put them on with screws the way they should have been attached in the first place.
