Do I just not get out and about enough?

On another forum, I have been in a discussion with an individual that states his 2013 34' TT has brakes on but one axle. In the past, has anyone (or acquaintenances) had ownership of maybe an entry level RV of that length with brakes on just one axle? Even my 95 Sunlite Discovery 20 footer had brakes on both axles. A good sneeze would have an effect on it as light as it was.

Some states specifically require brakes on all wheels. Some only specify the brakes must be adequate to control the trailer.

Maybe that MFR knows something we don't. Maybe we don't need both front and rear brakes on our Cars and TVs.
Personally I'll stick with brakes on every axle and for us they'll only be Disc to boot.

We had a 2000 sun line 28 foot tag along, brakes on the rear axle only

My boat trailers with surge brakes only had brakes on the front axles.

Had a friend who worked a number of years at Cadillac. One day (don't know if it was a Friday or Monday) they had a three door Caddy come down the line. Two door body style on one side and four door on the other. It wasn't finished as one of the supervisors saw it and had it pulled off the line. Too bad in a way!

I too have had a smaller implement trailer with only one axle with brakes, but was surprised to hear of a 34' RV with but one axle with brakes.

Guess I learned something new today. I just know at 17K plus pounds, I want all the braking I can get.
