Wow, we are hoping to go west this year. Maybe we will have to forget about at least a portion of our western tour.

That would keep the 6.4L in the driveway and if it stayed that way...206.00 per tank the truck and camper would become a very large lawn ornament. That would be @54500 per thousand miles towing. We are still at 4.099 to 4.239 (shell) but we have not been out yet today.

I don't doubt that picture at all. When we were in Death Valley two years ago their fuel prices were about a dollar per gallon more than the surrounding communities. But at those prices we'd be sitting in one place longer even than we do now.

We are re-thinking our travel plans for this summer. Most likely will stay at CG's closer to home. Trip planned was 2000 miles one way at 10 MPG, or about $1600 just for fuel for the trip. Consider ride around site seeing, etc.,
Economy is going down the tubes!!!

As bad as that is, and it is BAD, for the 2 years we lived in the bush, that would be considered cheap! Real cheap...

And I bet it is not ULSD either.
$4.25 in Florida most places $4.15 a Flying J and $4.05 at Sams.
Where is the Small truck blockades if the roads?

Paid $4.11 in Cottonwood today at a no name station. Shell was showing diesel at 4.49. They sure are proud of their gas. I think the Chevron was 4.49 also........

4.14 to 4.20 per gallon here in NW Iowa. We seem to be about a lot more expensive than regular gas here for the past year. Would be nice to see diesel drop back down below gas prices. But I won't hold my breath waiting for it.

It is $4.05 here for diesel. Colorado but you have to look for it. Some stations are higher. We get discounts where we buy groceries, about 10 cents a gallon off. This price above was without the discount. With a different grocery card we got 3 cents off that price.
