New Montys with desk?
I loved the old 3400, so was fortunate enough to get a Mountaineer 362 which is almost identical inside. I can't believe there are no new models that have a desk/work area anymore.
I think I checked every model out there (new) and couldn't find anything. Just curious.

We have a 2019 3560RL with the desk.........and absolutely love it. I don't miss the fireplace option at all, and I like that the TV can be completely hidden from view.

I think, over the years, I've seen two styles of campers with desks. The one like Foldbak pointed out above, with that "bonus room". On some models, that "bonus room" was used for laundry space, office space, and bedroom space.
The other models incorporated a desk around the entertainment center. I haven't seen any of those models on the "Net" in quiet a while.
RV models come and go. Sometimes new designs are put out there and sometimes they are successful and become tomorrow's latest fad. Others flop completely. It all depends upon how sales go and what interest the consumer has if a model continues to be produced or not.
One would think with so many folks pushing to work-from-home during and after the Pandemic "thing" there would be a stronger interest in campers with built in desks or office space. But then, maybe not!
I haven't followed other brands and models of campers (like Jayco, Forest River, or even Retro) to see what their are spitting out. So, it's possible, one of them may be manufacturing with built in desk space. But I agree, the only one that comes close is the one indicated above.
I recently removed the factory kitchen table from our Montana (it's in the kitchen slide) and replaced it with the kitchen table from our house. It's 6 feet long and fits the space nice. We have small folding chairs. We never use the kitchen table for eating on, but that nice space now, does now work very well for office space. Of course, it's just the 2 of us. Without extra bodies in the camper, it's easier to make these kind of changes.
