New members from New Hampshire

We have a 2022 Montana 3761FL. Love the features but find the quality control lacking. (Trim pieces falling off, auto leveling not working even after resetting -Zero twice, etc.)
We're from New Hampshire but will be working our way west, then to the south to spend the winter in Fla. then Gulf Shores, AL. Does anyone have info about hurricane damage around the Zephyrhills area?

First, welcome to the forums and congrats on purchasing your new Montana.

About quality: Unfortunately, every one of us has faced the same issues you are with the quality of your Montana build. The first year of RV ownership is grueling for everywhere, as we all had to make dozens and dozens of repairs, fixes, and improvements (warranty work and personal improvements).

It's an ongoing nightmare for about a year, especially if you are actually traveling. It does take about a year to flush out all the imperfections. (I think we all feel your pain). That doesn't make it right, it just makes it what it is.

Tackle each item, one at a time. Fix everything you possibly can yourself. It's just nothing but staples, wood, glue, a few screws, and a willingness to tackle it yourself. If you wait for warranty work, you could be waiting for months for an appointment and then months to get the actual work done once they have your camper in their possession. Learn to do things and fixes yourself.

I don't have any information about the Gulf Shores area. I would think your best avenue of attack would be to identify the destination you want, then call the park management and see what's going on at that location.

You could potentially have two campgrounds across the road from each other. One could be completely closed down and the other completely open and functioning. You'll need to call ahead anyway if you plan on staying anywhere to procure a reservation. While on the phone park management will be able to inform you more of what's happing in the local area, as well as what businesses, food, and fuel services that are open and available, utilities and banking.

Welcome to the MOC family and congratulations on your new 3761FL. Lots of knowledgeable and helpful folks here should any questions arise. Sorry - no info on Florida for you.

Zephyrhills was pretty much untouched. We're presently in Holiday which is West and closer to the Gulf and all that they got here was some rain and a little wind. Now if your go 50 to 75 miles South it's an entirely different story.
We had reservation for 3 weeks on Sanibel Island, won't happen as the Causeway to the Island is gone. Major destruction in the Ft. Myers area.
