making list

Ok, how do I make a nice list in my postings like the rest of you do?

Hope it isn't too complicated

Go to edit screen, the one with all the goodies, happy faces, etc. Start at top of edit screen, find the following:

Screensize
Format mode
Format THERE IT IS, all the way to the right. dots and dashes in the little icon.

THEN you have to change format mode to PROMPT, then click on that little icon and type in the box.[list=a][*]Change format code to prompt[*]click on that cute little icon[*]type

to get the A, B, C, I had to type A in the typing box and then hit return, and then typed in each line. I did not have to type in B, and C.

Before coffee, having trouble with the little dots, maybe you cannot do both in the same comment??

Little dots experiment

• change format code to prompt
• click on the cute icon
• type each line for a different bullet
• note, for just the little dots in the very first typing box that comes up, just hit enter with no input, no letter, no number

that could be it, of course it may be the 40 degree temps that we are having here

It's not much better here! Got down into the 40's last night and is about 60 now. Suppose to get down into the high 30's tonight! Don't know what happened to the spring and early summer weather we had last week!
