Just before Posted you will see a Smiley. This Smiley defaults to a SUN Smiley but, if you are the originator of the topic, you can change that Smiley to any of 14 Message Icons. See the Smileys just above the window where you type in your message and place the DOT within which ever Smiley you desire. I just changed the default to the
Staying on the Posted line you will see other icons to the right. Place your mouse over these and a small box will appear explaining their usage.

Clicking on this will show the Poster's profile.
Clicking here will allow you to send the Poster an Email.
Clicking here will take you to the Poster's Home Page IF he/she has one in their profile.
Clicking here will allow you to send the poster and Instant Message on MSN. Again the Poster must have the Instant Message selected within the Profile
This is the Yahoo Instant message and same rule applies as MSN
Clicking here allows you to send the Poster a PM (Private Message)
Clicking here allows you to QUOTE the Post word for word.

The next 3 only appear on posts or replies of the original poster and, as you will need a password, only the original poster can utilize these
THESE CAN BE VERY IMPORTANT ICONS...
This is the "EDIT" Icon where you can EDIT your post or reply. Making an additional reply saying you left something out of your previous reply wastes band width and creates more scrolling. Click on the "EDIT" icon, make your changes and click on the "Post Changes" button.
This Icon allows you to DELETE your reply. Very handy if you have made the same reply twice.
This Icon allows you to DELETE your entire Original Topic but only so long as no one has replied to it.
