Looks pretty yummy there...

Now you got me thinking...Texas just HAS to have some good salsa down there. It's one of my favorite all time foods. Yes - foods. I'll make a meal of it on just about anything.
Something tells me they don't like that stuff from New York City...LOL

Ozzie, you would think so, I haven't had more than one or two good Tex-Mex meals here in 4 years. The food Sue and I have tried, for the most part, is just not good. You know how it is, we all have acquired tastes. I had great Tex-Mex in San Antonio, but not here. The Caveche we had here is super, first I have had. I had to make my own salsa, most here is dry, just basic ingredients, I like mine a little soupy. Kansas City has great food if little else, I can brag on.

Ozz,

Come back through Austin and I will take you to a great Mexican Restaurant. They have hot sauce that will make your toe nails curl on some days.

Love your idea of your bacon wrapped chicken. We do something like that with shrimp. Take fresh shrimp, devein it, then put a thin slice of jalepeno with cream cheese along the back. Wrap the cheese, jalepeno in a half slice of bacon and then use a tooth pick to hold it together. Mix honey and worcheshire sauce together and grill it on the BBQ. You probably could add fresh cilantro with it too if you wanted. You have fresh shrimp right there.....try it you will like it.

Ozz, I bet it is good BUT All of us with slow connections that cannot see your Video on your photobucket Blog maybe you could just post the RECIPE. I know that my connection runs at only 28.6 KBPS and that will not open it... Thanks.

Linda, thanks for the tip, I did not realize that. I will dig it up, I'm going to try Colleen's suggestion.
If if remember it, I wrapped a slice of Chicken breast with Bacon, a slice of Jalapeño pepper inside, then bake at 350 or so until brown and cooked. Around 30-45 minutes in the convection oven.
(I loved your recipes, thank you for taking the time to post them for all of us.)
Oh, Salsa ala Ozz: a can of chopped tomatoes, cilantro, white vinegar, garlic or garlic powder, seasoned salt, chopped white sweet onions, chopped Jalapeño, Lime juice, taste, adjust...EAT!

Ozz, do you think that would work over the open fire. I think I will try it the next time I'm out!

Ozz,

You must get yourself a cooking show! Bernie already has a name for your show and a slogan. Ready?

Name: The Wonderful World of Ozz.

Slogan: Taste that's over the rainbow.

Now you've gone and made me hungry! When can I expect a jar of your salsa in the mail???
