Headed East from Tucson on I-10

Hello everyone! Headed east in the spring, ultimate destination is not really known yet. Looking for RV Park suggestions for staying in the New Braunfels TX area, then the Montgomery, AL area, and Destin FL. We are retired Air Force so we can stay at military bases if they have availability. Thanks in advance!

You're in luck in all three areas! Ft. Sam Houston RV park is great in the New Braunfels area and there are a couple nice military rec areas at Canyon Lake. Maxwell AFB in Montgomery has a nice Famcamp and there are many military campgrounds in or near Destin. Would recommend the Army Rec Area in Destion run by Ft. Benning. Have stayed at all and will again.

Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS has an RV campground too. They will have 2 RV parks by the end of the year, one is operational now and a new one is about finished. Both are off base and unsure of requirements. Just texted my SIL as he is the base Battalion Fire Chief and is checking on requirements for me.

According to my SIL, the RV parks at Keesler are for active duty and retired military only.

I'm retired Air Force. I was able to make reservations at Keesler FamCamp for April 2023 for four days. According to the rep, there are no amenities on the campground.
