Montana 3700rl

Anyone place a jacknife sofa in the rear that will accommodate the opposing 2 slides coming in from the wall

We thought about doing something like that, but with less than 36" clearance between the slide facia's and the back of the rig, there is no furniture that would fit, so the recliners that we turn sideways to clear the slides is our only option.

We have a 3700RL and replaced the air bed sofa (crappy to sleep on) with an apartment sized couch. It doesn't have sleeping capability but it fits between the slides with clearance. We then put real recliners in the slide out facing the TV. When we have an overnight guest we have an inflatable mattress for them to sleep on.

Recpro

Thanks yall - We just love our 3700rl have camped in it 6 times since purchased last August and just thinking about replacing some seating.

I see a RecPro RV jacknife sofa 28" depth and 73 1/4 width with drop down cup holders in middle section that seems to be getting good reviews. I'm not sure if there would be room for 2 small end tables with that width. I like that it's cloth so no peeling like others have posted. It would serve purpose of napping while watching TV or a guest sleeper. Our unit is in storage right now so I am going to think about it.

I would NEVER, repeat, Never have a jack knife sofa. Our 2006 model had one. When converted to a bed, you have a gap in the middle maybe 3-4 inches wide at the top and sloping to the bottom about 3-4 inches. And they aren't wide enough for 2 people except small kids. Just my opinion!

We had a Jack Knife sofa and the two halfs we almost 3" difference in height, so hardly fit for small kids.

Couches in 3700RL

Before we replaced our couch, I used to roll it on its back under the
rear window and secure it with straps. we had lazy boy recliners facing the entertainment center. Sold the couch ( inflatable bed was comfortable), got the Recpro Love seat with center console now facing the tv, recliners at the rear.
