Level Rv steps will not touch ground

My 19th anniversary 3791rd is on a permanent site. Has been for the past couple of years. Recently Ive had to auto level the RV with no issue. After I level the unit I put the steps back down and they reach the ground with the same extension. This last time I did this the steps remained about a 1”-1 1/2” off the ground.. what is the procedure to adjust the jacks so everything is back in sync.
Appreciate all input

Yes they are and they are extended all the way out . I haven’t moved my RV except for re- leveling. Prior to re-leveling I had a couple of extensions left . Not sure what as happened

I’m heading back to the RV Thursday. I thought I would retract all jacks and try auto level again.
In the past when I noticed the unit was not level I would hit the auto level button and the unit woild level however I have ended up with steps 1-11/2 off ground

If the autolevel gets your rig too high, try manually leveling the rig.
Put the controller in manual mode and level front jacks until you get a 0 degree reading front to back. Then run the rear jacks down until they touch the ground (or leveling blocks). Adjust each side until you get 0 degrees pitch side to side.
When you are good, the green dot inside the up/down/left/right buttons will illuminate indicating you are close enough to level.
I generally do this all the time because I have a ramp for our old dogs and I want to keep the pitch as low as possible.

I've had the auto level do some crazy stuff. On occasion it's leveled with wheels up and the legs almost out of stroke. When this happens I put it in manual mode and lower it until the wheels are on the ground. I don't have this problem if I put blocks under the tires on the downhill side.

I went to manual mode retracted the back jacks , lowered the front jacks and got a zero reading then lowered the back jacks , got a zero reading then hit the auto leveling button very little adjustment made. I then put the steps down and they were touching the ground.
Appreciate all suggestions.. It’s nice to get things back to normal- RV wise.
