After all this time, I FINALLY did it!

Well, its been a long, hard ever so tiring 29 months, but tommorow is my official last day of residency in the Nurse Anesthesia program! I am so excited I can't even begin to explain the feeling. Steve is on his way from Montana for my graduation party on Saturday night. We are then leaving to go back to MT so I can rest, recuperate, and more importantly study for boards.....right before Christmas.
On another note, looks like I will be staying in CA a little while longer. I have accepted a position as an anesthetist with the county hospital where I have received the majority of my training. Thank goodness for the Monty! Looks like I will continue living in it awhile longer (unless I can't resist that new Big Sky)! The plan is stay here one year, get great experience, then return home to MT to practice.
Doesn't time fly? Take care all.

Congrats! I am, and know we all are, proud of your dedication and sacrifice to attain your goal. You are a nice person, and nice and smart will go a long way. Tell Steve he is a lucky man, although I know he is aware of that fact.

I'm relatively new to the forum, and haven't been following this story, and this is my first exposure to it. But I know that what you have done required commitment, dedication, hard work, and lots of hope. Not for only you, but for your partner as well. Congratulations to you. You earned it, and you deserve it. May God bless you and your work in the future.
