microwave/convection oven
The microwave oven in our Montana seems weak.Things take much longer then microwave oven at home. The convection function ends up taking longer then the gas oven?
Is this just how they are or ?
Thanks again for any ideas.

We used our new one for the first time last week and it worked both on Microwave and Convection exactly as the recipe stated and our expectations were.

Ditto! Our is the same mdhill. Checked the temp on the convection and it is about 100 degrees cooler than the temp set.

The watt rating of ours is 900W, which is less than the one we had in the S/B, which I believe was at least 1100W. When in convection mode, it does not seem to be as hot as the setting. Just purchased a temp gauge to put inside when in convection mode to check, just haven't done that yet.

No problems with ours. Could the problem be the brand? Ours is a Dometic.

I wonder if it is the brand. Ours is a Frigidaire. Sounds like the Dometic might work better.

We complained about ours from day one. Would not pop popcorn, without increasing the time to the point of burning it. Dealer was no help. We just used it to heat food and water for tea. Then one day it fried the control board. Call Apollo and got a new board and the unit has been working as it should. Microwave and convection ovens work great.

What you are experiencing just doesn't seem right. Maybe your dealer or someone could look at it. We have had microwave/convections for years and they have worked just great. Hugs, Di

Our (Sanyo)is fine, but the door rubs against the trim plate. Haven't tried to adjust it. Anyone else with this issue?

Ours is Wirlpool and works great. I forget what brand (wasn't Wirlpool) our 2008 was but it worked good also. I agree with Dutch and Di, I would have a dealer check it out.

We have a Frigidaire as well and also not happy with the performance of both the convection and microwave. Keystone nor the dealer would help since it worked. I'm going to call Frigidaire in hopes they will stand behind their product and if they will not do something we will replace it.
