Keeping Cabinet Doors Closed
Is there a nicer way (than bungie cords) to keep the living room cabinet doors shut while bumping down the road? I've seen on YouTube where some people replace latches with magnetic ones, but I was wondering what some of your solutions were.

Velcro straps for us also. Used small bungees at first but the metal wraps on the ends blemished the cabinets. I thought about magnets but they would have to be pretty strong the way some of our content gets moved around. (has nothing to do with how Linda packs the cabinets but more a statement of road conditions.)

Keeping Cabinet Doors Closed
Thanks for the advice. I was looking at baby-proof locks on the Walmart site, but the velcro straps suggestion sounds like the idea to try.

We use the little bungees though the Velcro is a good idea. I made up a couple long 2'' wide Velcro straps tp keep the TV from bouncing too hard while traveling the formerly shovel ready highways of the US (ya ever wonder where those $$ went?).

We full time and never use anything and in 9 years have never had a cabinet or door come open in travel or have anything break.

We did find when we took our first trip that some of the latches and their catches did not quite match up. Once we aligned them, no more problems with the doors popping open (unless of course one of us forgets to close one all the way).

we use Velcro on the coffee maker inside the pantry. I like the baby latch idea, will have to visit a baby store. I used a safety spring door closer on the control center "head knocker" & pantry door behind the slide out (slide out pulled the knob off). Both work very well

We also have never had to do anything special re cabinet doors except for minor adjustments on the latch mechanisms.
