Is there a MOC group in Colorado. We live in Colorado Springs and will pick up our new 3400RL in October.

While there are many members in Colorado, I am unaware of a formal MOC group there. But watch for rallies in the Nebraska area and the western states (CA, AZ, OR) and try to attend one (or more). That is the best way to meet a large group of terrific people at one time.

Jdvier,
To start a MOC group in your area simply post that you are interested in organizing such a group. If there are folks in your area that are interested they will respond and you are off and running. We are a VERY informal group. We have found that informality to work well and encourage you to also adopt that attitude. RVing should be a FUN process.

The only restriction we have regarding organizing a MOC gathering is that it not conflict with either the Fall Rally held usually in the third week of September in Goshen, IN and the Spring Rally held at various times and places. Next year the Spring Rally is the end of March and first part of April in Jackson, CA.. This Rally is usually held somewhere in the Western part of the U.S..

You are asked to leave at least a week or two around those dates to allow members adequate travel time.

As a courtesy to other Regional MOC gatherings you should try not to overlap any Rally that they may be having. There are, however, only so many dates one can hold a Rally so there sometimes will be overlaps.

Gwen and Mike,
You will be most welcome at the Q gathering. The "Official" host Simonsrf (Robbie) will be announcing the gathering in the next couple of weeks or so. Basically all you need to do is let Robbie know when the announcement is made of the following:
Your name
Your username
When you will be arriving/leaving and I'm not even really sure of that.
The major reason we need to know this info is so we can plan on the size of the circle.

Anyway as soon as the "official" info comes out everything will be made clear. So welcome and enjoy. Looks like the circle will break another record this coming year. One thing you may want to get is a small quiet generator. If you don't have one built in that is.

Also plan on having a great time and meeting many new friends.

In looking at the calendar for the Quartzsite gathering.... January 30th is a Sunday rather than Saturday. Not sure which is incorrect, the date or the day. Thanks.
