Not Another Furnace Question, Yes it Is

I just replaced control board in rig with New Dinosaur 50 along with new Circuit Breaker/Switch and did the pigtail change with the Blue wire from TStat.

Hit switch from OFF to reset and it fires Up! Hooray! I looked closer and saw the idiot light on steady red and went ooops, what's that? I ran it for 5 minutes, heat coming out everywhere it should and went in to turn temp down to 70 (had to go to 84 to get it to come on). Then went back out and light was not on any longer.
Internal Control Failure?
I've looked here and a gen web search and found nothing specific for what that could be.
I mean, brand new board, so not thinking it's that.
Going to hit 17 degrees tonight and hoping it will work, but not sure whether to push it, considering.

Well let's hope it works correctly when the temps drop. What does the documentation for the new board say the idiot light should be displaying?

Just curious, why did you change the board? Did the original fail?

First, the board showed a slightly swollen and burnt transistor on one edge. I figured that was why it acted wonky, then quit. So, I replaced it.

The paper that came with the board only talks about the green light being on or off, nothing about red light which is described only on the sticker on the blower motor cowling.

At any rate I stayed warm last night. Hallelujah. Electricity was costing me about $75 a week for IR heat.
Just have to see how it works out.
It has been an expensive year so far with the new faucet, this board and the electrical costs, hope that's over, too.
