Member passing

It is with deep regret that I am passing along the word that Rich Lascola passed away yesterday afternoon. Helen asked me to pass this on to the MOC. She will most likely post later when she has had time to deal with this.

That is sad to hear. Rich was a prolific contributor to the MOC and a long time Fall Rally attendee. He will be missed.

For the many of us who may have benefited from Rich Lascola’s advice, but did not know him personally, would someone post his user name on the forum, that we might more fully appreciate his contributions?
Giving of one’s time (in any form), represents the highest state of humanitarianism we achieve in this life. Certainly 20,000 posts says a lot of him.

I believe it was "RichFFA" or something similar. Been a long time since he or Helen have posted.

I never had the pleasure to meet Rich. But from reading his posts for so many years I felt like I knew him. From posts above I assume he had a long term illness. His last post was a year and half ago. May he rest in peace.
