Good morning Kayafussy -
I own a 2008 Montana 3665RE. The layouts between our trailers are similar, not exact. Albeit mine is a bit longer, but not by much. I anticipate the slides are the same size.
Nonetheless, I replaced my sofa and there is sufficient room on either slide for a 60" sofa. If you are looking for the overall slide length, I can get that measurement, but that would have to wait until tomorrow.
The slide upon which your sofa current sits is the door side slide (DS), the slide where the recliners are located is known as the opposite door side slide (ODS). Again, the 60" sofa will fit on either side. I replaced mine with a full sleeper sofa from a company out of Oregon!
Regarding the construction of the bed and size of the mattress. That should be a platform bed, with a small amount of storage space underneath the mattress. It could be a king or a queen depending upon the side-type tables/platform next to the mattress. The queen has a small platform on either side of the mattress for nick-knacks, whereas the king bed set-up will not.
Mine has a trailer queen, so when the slide comes in, there is about 2-4 inches of space between the end of the mattress and the dresser that sits opposite of the bed. I THINK you should have room for a regular queen mattress in the bedroom if that is what you have now. Suggestion...
What I had done was stand in the bedroom and have the slide brought in to measure the distance from the end of the mattress to the dresser to ensure I had room, and I do. My BIG concern was whether the mattress would be clear of the dresser, the pressure the mattress's end would exert on my dresser and slide mechanisms (I have Hydraulic) if it was in contact with it when the slide was closed, and how it would travel down the road.
If the trailer is parked full-time, then it would be a matter of determining the configuration of the bedroom room - side tables or not, which will tell you what size mattress you purchase. Nonetheless I would be certain the slide will close with a longer mattress.
Best of Luck with your project...
