2024 3941FO change from AGM to Lithium

I am changing my AGM battery to a Lithium battery. I have the 440i Solar Package and know to change the profile to Lithium on the Victron controller but I am having trouble figuring out what I need to do on the converter. The unit is in storage and I don’t have access to it and I am having difficulty tracking down what converter is in the unit and getting documentation. It may have a switch that needs setting or it may be automatic sending and change its charging profile. Anyone know what model would be in my unit?

When you can, open the cover of your circuit breaker panel. You will see a white label with your model number on it.
To switch the converter from LA (lead acid) to Li (lithium) mode, you will need to remove the coverand flip the switch.

Maybe I'm missing something, but with a 2024 Montana, why change a virtually new AGM for lithium? My last AGMs were good for eight years.

My unit was supplied with one 100ah battery. Hardly enough to boondock for one night. It also has been left out on the sub zero temperatures at the dealer while getting serviced. The battery is pretty much trash. I am moving to a 300ah and plan on adding a second later this year.

Just remember,
You must NOT charge lithium batteries when they are at freezing temperatures (32⁰F).
You will damage them.
I put two 100W bulbs in the battery compartment (one on each side) to keep mine warm in the winter.

Excellent article

I was looking at adding tank warmers and insulating the box. There are some DIY y-tube university videos on adding these. The foot print of the mini fits inside my current battery box and allows me to get 600ah in there.

If you haven’t bought the battery yet, get one that is self heating.
I got this one. No complaints.

My batteries did not come with built in battery heaters.
I made this for boondocking in cold temperatures

1-weight savings
2-deeper discharge making better use of battery’s full capacity
3-faster recharging of batteries
4-On board BMS protects from over charging and and safe guards from depletion damage
