Toilet Problems (2) 45º

I have a 2018 Montana and the toilet is filling quickly. I have had it pumped from inside and outside, It seems like the 45º fill up and don't drain. I can fill the toilet with water and it doesn't drain.

Has anyone just cut the 45º out? I have tried to clear it to no success .

Have you tired to go down the toilet with a flushing wand?

Sounds to me like you have the dreaded "poop pyramid" right below where the toilet dumps into the tank. Without enough water in the tank to start with, and a lot of water every time you flush heavy loads, pyramids will start to build and are hard to get rid of once they start.

Try to get a look in the tank with a bore scope camera or whatever resources you have and then invest in a tank wand and go to work.

Can't use a wand when you have the two 45º elbows.

That wand should go through your elbows.

Example here

You could push water in backwards through the outlet or use the tank flusher connection if you have one. Put 25 gallons in it and go for a 25 mile drive and let it slosh around for a while to try to break it down.

The alternative is to have the tank cleaned professionally if you don’t want to deal with it.

The problem that the 45s do is you can't force water in from outside. It will fill both the grey and the black. I will try forcing the wand but I think it is a physical, non biodegradable object

Here is a flexible tank wand of 59" in length. This should reach the tank. Also do a Search on "flexible tank wand" for more discussions on this topic.https://www.amazon.com/WodGod-Flexib...DNQ8C4KV?gQT=1

I have also heard on hear about the circle cutout of the tank getting left inside. This is from the original cut to hook up the drain pipe. Mix that with a little poop and TP and it can jam right in the opening.

We had the pyramid problem while of vacation at the beach many years ago. Not fun at all. I bought the flexible wand at the camp store. I worked it around without much success. In desperation I jammed a tape measure down thru the mess. It was more flexible and was able to break thru the mess. I kept working it up and down until things started to move along.
Of course that tape measure found the dumpster after I was done.

Try about 6' of 1/2" pex pipe (local hardware store). Heat it up and put a 2" L bend on the end and shove it down and wiggle around.
Maybe even tape a hose on the end to blast some water through it.

Did you ever "get to the bottom" of this issue? Curious what you found.
