Hurricane Ian v. Montana

We escaped 55 miles to the East of Ft Myers; should have gone a bit further. I estimate we had 45mph steady, gusting to maybe 50-55, directly on the backside. I was watching the backwall flex in/out about 1". Thank goodness we were not sideways to the wind.

Glad it went well for you. Seems like right on the coast took the brunt. Couple of years ago, we stayed at a park in Bonita Springs Fla., 6 miles inland from Fort Meyers Beach. Recent reports from the park said no RV's damaged but tree limbs down. If you been watching the news for the past few days you know how Fort Meyers beach faired.

We had reservations on Sanibel Island that's not going to happen since the Causeway is out.

I lived on Sanibel back in the late '80's. Beautiful island. It's a shame it had to be destroyed this way.
