Cloroplast and insulation

Last week we pulled into a rest stop to fuel from our back tank and use the facilities. While fueling I walked around our rig and looked underneath in a few places as well. Noticed the cloroplast was folded back from about the back axle about 4’ and wiring was hanging down as well. Fortunately I had a couple of self tapping screws and washers to jury rig a repair to hold up the cp. What I did not see was any insulation in the space beneath the floor and the cp! What thickness and what type should be there? We bought this 2019 3121rl rig used in 2020. I had noticed some duct tape covering a cp joint at the rear axle but did not think much about it. Apparently I should have.
