Refrigerator leaking water
Shortly after defrosting our frig we noticed water under the frig. Several months ago we had removed the wood panel at the bottom of the frig (inside the coach)and have been using the empty space for shoe storage. The leaking water came from the drain hose that is located on the outside of the frig. Normally the hose is run through one of the vent holes in the lower outside panel. In this case the bottom end of the white drain hose had become brittle and broken. The hose was now draining onto the shelf at the back of the frig and then working it's way back into the trailer.
Anyone who has not used that lower area for storage probably would not notice the leaks since the water might not be visible.
The fix was easy- I just spliced an extension onto the existing white hose. I cheated and used automotive wire loom ( the black plastic tubing used to shield wires). When we get back home I may use a better hose, but for the next several weeks of our trip the loom will be adequate.

The repair you have made is probably all you will ever need. To replace the complete tube ,
You probably will have to remove the fridge. Others will be here to comment. Larry

Sounds like the easiest way to deal with it.

Wire loom has a split in it to accommodate placing the wires inside it. Won't it leak?
