Yes, good to have and hope I never need to use. I did save the day last July when so little kid had a nearly flat tire and no where to fill it up. He rode that bike all over the campground with a huge smile.

Bostick pancake type with 150 psi capability. I have it to put the crown molding back in place with a nailer or brad gun.

Just purchased a Viair 400-RV. My old pancake and generator would take 15-20 min to top off my tires from +/-100 to 110. The Viair did it in less than 5 min for all of them. Quiet and small too. Happy with it.

Me too and it’s a monster. I bought an RV specific one and automatic so that I can use is like a tank compressor. Watch the video before choosing.

I just purchased a Ryobi 18 volt one gallon. It only goes to 125 psi but its good for what I need. I think I paid 129 at Home Depot.

Yes, a DEWALT DCC020IB 20V Max Inflator (Bare)
So far it has worked great at keeping tires at correct pressure! Not used for tools

Been bringing along the same Porter-Cable CMB-15 for the past 2 years and wouldn't live home without it. Our tires require 110 psi and this compressor has no problem keeping them to this.

Viar works great. I'm impressed at how much air it pumps!

We also have a portable air compressor that I carry with us at all times. We have a ryobi 125 psi 12 V battery operated. Instead of the large cord I have a 6 foot cord Instead of the large cord I have a 6 foot cord that I purchased through Harbor freight for six dollars and the air compressor cost me $129 from Home Depot.

What am I missing; why would you need a compressor capable in excess of 125 psi?

A 125 PSI compressor has a tougher time getting 110 PSI in tires then one at 150 PSI. The higher the differential pressure the faster the fill.
If you already have a 125 PSI compressor or only air your tires to 80 PSI, I would not run out and get a new one.

12 Volt Viair and a 120 pancake. New to the 5er world so haven't had to put either to the test.
