I looked at it online and it really looks nice. If I were traveling and needed to blow out lines more often, I would for sure install one.

Jerome, Do you have a link to this product? I can't find it even on the Lippert site.
Thanks in advance

That's actually kind of a cool idea, and not really all that expensive.

I've always blown out my lines, and never had any issues. But, I have an air compressor that I can do that with. Not everyone does, and if I ever needed to blow mine out away from home, I couldn't do it. With this, you could.

I have avoided putting anti-freeze in our lines, because I don't want the stuff in the lines, because it makes the lines and the water taste, so I blow out...

Looks handy but since most of us carry a compressor for tools and tires it would be redundant.

I think that little floe compressor is going to have to cycle many times to provide enough air to insure the lines are completely blown out.

You can use one of these https://www.amazon.com/Camco-36153-B.../dp/B0006IX68O with your own air source. Don't forget to turn the compressors pressure down.

That is pretty convenient. I have a Viair compressor which I carry when towing and I bought a pressure regulator and water hose connector so I can accomplish this through the water fill port outside. The process is the same as shown in the Lippert video for the Floe system. Fairly simple and I usually only do that once or twice a year depending on when and where we are going.

That's actually a pretty good idea to put a secondary regulator on the hose going into the fill port. I have a main regulator, and I have forgotten in the past to lower it to something like 40PSI before I start blowing it all out, although, I haven't done that with the Monty (yet).

If there was a regulator already set at 40PSI, it would be at that pressure every time that you hooked it up, and they aren't all that expensive. Pretty cheap insurance.

I have a hi capacity tire compressor with a PSI regulator. Has anyone ever tried using something like that to blow out the water lines? Would that work? It’s obviously not for air power tools. Just wondered. Guess I need to pull out the manual and read up on all the features.

Hi pressure isn't what you need. You need high VOLUMES of air. While those things can get to really high pressures, they do it very slowly. I suppose that it would work, but it would be a really really slow process. Build up pressure, open faucet, rinse and repeat until no water comes out.

We do have a air compressor at home and carry one in the Montana. This is actually the first winter since 2005 that we had to winterize the Montana as we did not go to Florida this winter . We just did it the old fashioned lots of pink stuff.

I have a small air compressor. I pump up the hot water tank and blow out all the lines. I leave it pumped up for several weeks and a couple times a day I go by blow the lines out again until I’m confident all the water is out of the lines.
Over kill heck yes but it works.

I guess I need to get out the manual and see what it can do. From looking at the air fitting for the hose input, not sure how much volume you can get through that fitting. This compressor can fill a Sailin 18 inch tire incredibly fast. I have done it and was amazed at how fast this compressor filled that tire. Just have to investigate.
