E01 code on inverter display
I have a 2022 Montana 3855BR equipped with a solar panel. My batteries are fully charged yet I am getting an E01 code on my inverter display. Obviously the inverter outlets won’t work. Right? What is the issue here? Any suggestions?

Have you tried to turn the inverter off and back on using the inverter power switch or the inverter disconnect in the battery compartment? Restarting may clear the error.

E01 is pretty much standard as "low 12V voltage" regardless of the manufacturer. Check the wiring from the battery to the inverter paying attentions to the Disconnect Switch and Fuse.

If you are getting E01, then your batteries are dead. If they are lead acid, then this is not unusual with heavy use. The solution is to use the Lithium battery solar systems designed to work with. Another possibility is dropping your voltage to the 10.5 dead level, either very thin wires from the inverter to the battery or a high resistance connection. The first thing I did with my original unit was buy proper 4/0 welding cable, marine lugs, and double layer with glue heat shrink. Then I bought a hydraulic crimper. Sometime later, the batteries were replaced with 600AH of LiFePO4 Battle Born batteries, a total Victron system, and now I can boondock all I want. Depending on boondocking requirements, between 4 and 6 200W panels. And lastly TOTALLY disconnect the built in converter or you are throwing away power.

The battery is not dead. It’s showing fully charged inside my control panel on the indicator lights. Also, when I hook a battery charger to the battery the charger indicates fully charged. I believe the problem is probably in the solar system somewhere. Just not sure where.

The solar system is unaware of the inverter. The solar system charges the batteries. The inverter draws power from the battery. The E01 code tells you there is no 12V power to the inverter.
Find and test the 12V circuit from the batteries to the inverter. There aren't many connection points along the way so it won't be to difficult to identify the problem one.

Update: I found the problem. When I connected the battery cables at the beginning of the season I inadvertently missed connecting the negative cable going to the inverter from the battery. Error code is gone and showing 13.5 volts on the inverter display.
