Shower Darin problem 2

We have a 3931FB. The shower drain and PTrap is located in the battery compartment. I destroyed the cheap plastic drain getting the PVC pipe to release so I could remove and clean the PTrap. I plan to go back with brass. Here’s my question. I have enough room to install a normal (home type) PTrap. Is there any reason to keep the waterless RV type? The only thing I can think of is driving down the road with water in a PTrap and the possibility of it coming out in the shower OR the gray tank filling up with hair and residue. I’d appreciate others thoughts. Thanks

Since the first time that happened to us we changed to using the screens you can insert in the drain after you remove the guard that came in it. 11 years of full timing since and while we have to clean the screen with a toothbrush from time to time we have never had another problem with the drain line and no hair in the gray tank. https://www.amazon.com/Camco-42273-A...s%2C196&sr=8-2

With two of us with long hair, we clean the screen after every two showers.
Find a Flea Market and you can buy a pack of screens to fit the shower, bathroom sink, and kitchen sink for a buck or two.

We don't have a hair problem - at least not much. I don't have any! And wife's is medium length! You lucky guy, I would take shower drain problems for a head of hair!
