Question for 3295 owners
Have any 3295 owners built a backsplash for the kitchen sink? We seem to get water on the carpet every time I use the sink - any hints?

My wife has not had that problem. Me on the other hand. Well we don't talk about that.

After only 2 trips in our new 3295RK I too discovered water running down the back side of the cabinet after washing the dishes. At this point I just fold up a terry hand towel several times and lay it behind the facet. That worked and it reminded me to be a little more careful when I washed the dishes. As for my husband when he comes in to do a big hand wash. I tell him like I do at home. "Don't wash your dirty hands in my kitchen sink. Please use the bathroom." It will be interesting to see what others have done but I don't think I'd want something permanent behind the facet. I do love my counter space.

We have the same problem no matter who uses the sink. I wish they had used the counter tops that have a bit of an upwards "roll" at the edges that keep liquids from spilling off the counter. We also use paper towels or a kitchen towel to keep water from going over.

My wife taught me to do dishes without splashing.

Oh now Vicki will have to give lessons to everyone with an island sink!!! We don't seem to have this problem and I wonder if they started slanting the back a little. I'm going to check that when we get Monty back in his spot.
Happy trails....................

I also use a kitchen towel there most of the time. Sometimes I don't get water there. Depends on how much of a hurry I am. Have never had any run down the cabinets yet.

Actually, I do splash a little but rarely enough to run off the counter and down the sides. I think a backsplash would be a good idea.
Home Depot and those places have a bathtub seal that creases in the middle to form a 'V'. The backside has an adhesive. I wonder if something like that installed along the lip of the counter behind the sink would help.

We do get a little water over the counter from time to time but when I asked Mary Kay if she wanted a backsplash on there she said "no". Good news for me.
