We have put one in the unit. It is our "bank" when we head out and we don't have to go to Wally World or anyplace to get cash if needed. We have screwed it to the floor and in a very secure place in the unit. Nope, not going to tell you where it is screwed down either! LOL

LOL there have been FB threads where folks have posted where they have installed theirs.

Also had a friend ask folks to post the city where they were born. My response was, "What is your mother's maiden name?" anbd account number

I made a hidden compartment under a cabinet. There is about 3 inches between the bottom of the cabinet and the door. I put a spring loaded false top in the cabinet. If you can find then there are two finger holes. You shove the top back then it will come down in the front. It’s in the bedroom but you still can’t find it. I keep my cash and my 45 in it. Now you know where it is the money is yours just leave my unregistered 45.

Tony,

Why add the weight? A small safe would just get carried off and a big one is way too heavy.

I found one that is decent size but only weighs 40lbs ish. its like nothing I have at home, not fire proof or waterproof but a deterrent none the less. just tossing the idea around. I carry a safe ish in my truck thought maybe something in the trailer would be nice.

You are better off to hide your valuables and cash in a hard to find spot in the RV. We've had three safes in RVs, anybody with a big pry bar could get any of them out and carry them off.
