yeah... I didnt even bother ever using it. I replaced the stock sound bar with bluetooth, with a upgraded system 5.1, also with bluetooth. More power better sound. For the outside I have a Harmon Kardon Onyx, and that little speaker sounds really good !

I'm also looking for an alternative. The HDMI ARC failed within a couple weeks, troubleshooting over the phone with ASA, they confirmed that both tv and stereo should be replaced. Okay, send me new ones and I'll put the old ones in the boxes and return to you. Nope, gotta do it through a dealer. Seriously? I can swap them out myself, we're fulltimers so not interested in subjecting ourselves to that circus. Everything else works and was able to get my DISH sound via the rear aux input, but OTA sound only through tv speakers.
Probably gonna go with a simple sound bar. Just need to figure out where/how to mount, maybe enough space at top/behind tv.
But then we may also replace the tv with a smart or 4k.

My unit came with a sound bar already installed so I just removed it ran the plug and connected the tv along with the computer/server, Nintendo switch and fire stick directly to the rear of the tv. From the TV I ran the optical out to the sound bar. I set the sub next to the theater seats and mounted the rear speakers underneath the cabinet above the theater seats. sounds great and pretty simple. I used the Vizio sound bar 5.1 system. the sound bar fit right in the slot no modifications necessary.

I replaced the Furrion system in our rig...twice. The 2nd time the dealer agreed to order it under warranty. I paid to have it shipped to me and I replaced it. I sent the old one back to the dealer and all was well.

I'm 2 hours away from our dealer and even though they are great to work with it's still cheaper to pay for some shipping than to pull the rig to them.

I added a Polk Audio soundbar with a subwoofer a few months ago. Much happier. The subwoofer fits perfectly in the back left corner of where the TV is in the down position.

Side note: I did this at the same time I fixed the TV lift cable after the second time it broke in 4 months of owning the thing. Beefed it up a bit with a thicker cable and larger aluminium ferrules. Hope that helps!

How did you route the audio cable for the sound bar? I'm working on something similar but haven't decided how to run the cabling yet.

That's a good dealer.

Just subscribing and hoping others have found straight forward replacement for that POS Jensen. Ours used to come on at strange hours (no, the alarm was NOT on) but a master power toggle swich cured that misdemeanor

A couple days ago, I just discovered the Jensen unit in my trailer failed. No sound output, no Bluetooth. The clock runs in its own space-time continuum. I'm going to install a car stereo headunit and a stand alone bluray player in its place. It will pair nicely with my aftermarket amp, speakers and sub.

Hi D, sorry it took a couple days to respond, I flew in yesterday and picked the Montana up today. I drilled a hole in the wood large enough to run HDMI and power cables through and put a desk cable grommet to finish it out. Also cut a few strips of a Velcro like material to keep the bar in place. Here’s a few pictures.

What comes from the factory is absolute junk. I added a small subwoofer behind the TV and it helped some. Some people posting to this thread have upgraded to good sound bars. I will do that sooner or later. Good luck.

I’m interested in how others mounted their sound bar. We have a 3931FB. There doesn’t seem to be enough space to mount the bar above or below the TV.

Jdarwin - I bought a Bose solo sound bar from Sams (I think Costco has them also). It sits behind the TV on the Bottom left no problem and sounds great and does not interfere with anything. The radio still uses the OEM tinny speakers but we rarely listen to the radio. FM is barely there and AM is nonexistent. I may attempt to address/improve it some day but it is no priority for now.

We have the iRV radio from Patrick Industries and I believe the sound bar is irV also. The sound bar is actually not too bad so as long as it works I won't change it. The CD and DVD are pretty good but we seldom use that. The radio stinks, both AM and FM. But the blue tooth works good so we just connect my phone and use iHeart radio and Sirius XM for music and news. There is a USB port but not for data, only for charging so I use it for charging my b/t ear buds.

By way of full disclosure, my audiologist told me years ago to not spend a lot of money on good audio equipment because with my hearing I can't hear the difference anyway.
