Bulb Seals will make all the difference

Sometimes called “D” seals also... You may know them by that name.

I just tried to post a link to Amazon for the type that Keystone builds plastic channels for, but not sure it will post here because it is a web address..

Go to Amazon and search for "AP Products Black 018-350-EKD Premium EK Seal for Slide-Out Rooms"

and you will see what I mean.. they come in different sizes so be careful you order the right one for your plastic channel width..

On ours and every Montana I have seen, there are bulb seals on the trim around the slides that seal to the side walls of the camper when the slides are closed.

There is also another set of bulb seals (different ) that are adhered to the interior walls (sides and top) of the camper at each slide that seal to the back side of the slide out interior trim when the slides are out.

Are any of these seals completely air tight ? NO, but there is not much that can be done to completely seal up a slide out. It is what it is.

We took delivery of this Montana last Friday.. when doing our walk thru we noticed them missing.. we went out to the lot and looked at 4 more Montana’s and all were missing their seals... that was in Ashland VA. In 2017 we took delivery of a Sprinter in Avondale AZ... that was missing it’s seals also... both of these are 4 seasons equipped...

Never heard of such a thing as dealers having to install bulb seals of units delivered to them. That makes no sense to me. Disclaimer; I have never bought a unit new that had a slide. My last 2 have been used units.
