Do you know how to disable/disconnect your EMS? Could be an EMS issue.
Also might consider a different power source if available. Even using an adapter/dogbone to run 30 or 20 amp.

well i think i found it, hot out of ems into tsf switch, took cover off tsf switch and dead on the load side while i was checking it with my meter i heard it click then checked and not hot on load side and charger working. tightened all the lugs so will see what happens i will check it again in a bit. could just bypass tsf switch seeing we do not have a generator and do not plan on getting one permanent anyway. aint one thing it is 2!
thx for the quick reply az traverler

Al,
Glad you found it quickly. Knowing how to bypass your transfer switch and EMS will pay dividends sometime in the future.

well a little more on my tsf switch situation. called progressive and talked to a tech named dennis, he was very helpful going over the problem i have with the tsf switch. if i removed the shore power and the reenergize it should engage the switch for the shore but does not. he had me remove power and manually push in the gen switch and then the shore power switch, both engaged as they should. only 1 can be engaged at a time. then when i hooked back up to shore, ck between the orange and yellow wire and he said i should get 120 dc on my meter which i did. this is the coil for the closeing part of the switch for shore. but i had to manually close the switch to get the load engaged. bottom line bad tsf switch which they are sending a new one. i am thinking of just eliminating the tsf swich as i do not have a on board gen and probably never will. any thoughts on doing this? i have a permanent 50 amp ems that takes care of any surge or open neutral etc. sorry for the long post but hope it may help someone else down the line.
