Probably a dumb question, but I'm sure there's a quick answer. In installing a washer/dryer unit in a Big Sky, is 110 the limit? Anyway a 220 hookup will work. Can it be adpated to 220, or am I dreaming? The local dealer hasnt returned my call yet so I'm, relying on you guys for quick help on this one.
You would need to do some re-wiring to get the 220v but the drawback is that (I think) You would either have to be connected to 220v 50 amp service or unplug the dryer to avoid feedback when on 30 amps. The adapter jumps 1 110v leg to both poles while the 50 amp has 2 seperate out of phase 110v legs.
No... you have a Magnatek (now Parralax) 50 amp panel, they do not allow you to insert dual breakers as you would in a household panel. They are made different. You will have to order the dryer in a 120 volt model.
