ANyone with RecPro Recliners in Mesa az
I looked online and they have one that looks good. But I won't buy one unless I sit in it. Thought maybe someone nearby had one I could test for a minute. Don't want to spend $600 and then not like the fit.

They're made for RVs so the backs come off to fit through the door. Call the RecPro customer service, I'm sure they will have the answer.

I had them in my Class A as a replacement for the uncomfortable peeling couch.
I would give them a 5-6 out of 10 for comfort. If you can find something at a furniture store I would go that route.
Unfortunately if you need an RV model there aren't many options

I know what you mean by wanting to actually sit in one. I can offer that they are not rock hard and not squishy soft, but just off 1/2 way in-between to the firm side. More a 7-8 out of 10 for us, but we both are well under 200#. We have the oatmeal cloth theater seats and hide a bed sofa from RecPro and like them. As with all seats they have softened up just a bit with use. They both came exceptionally well packed. I actually kept some of the packing for other uses as that stuff is stout.

Thanks guys. I wasn't worried about get it installed - just how comfortable they are. If they are too long in seat, then the legs hang over etc. I got a Lazy-boy last year and it isn't bad,but is hard to slide around. But I would be happy with the chairs that came with our - even tho it only lasted about 7 years.

We bought 2 several years ago and like them. The only drawback is that they are short on the back. Don't come up far enough like our family room chairs that we use every day. We are both 5'7" and 5'8" tall so the back needs to be several inches higher to rest our head on. We use them only about 30 days a year since we don't go to Arizona anymore.

Rontila, I had to search carefully to get one that fits. My chairs are in the back and one side has 32 inches to edge and the other 33-34 or so. I needed a chair that when turned sideways would be less than 32 inches. I have maybe 1/2 inch to spare. Like I said above, I found one model that was a fit. Unfortunately it was $1300 regular price - $1000 or so on sale.
Oh, it is a swivel recliner (can't remember if it rotates or not, but I think so).
