It should be behind your basement wall on the right side under the stairs.
If you put a multimeter under the wire Crimp you can read 12vdc from the battery.
Pull the inline 30A red fuse behind the battery (red wire that goes to the red self resetting circuit breaker on the wall).
Use your multimeter and confirm the 12vdc on the wire under the stairs goes away.

Our 2021 3231CK solar wire ends to the roof were tucked in the basement ceiling adjacent to the battery compartment. Both wire ends (to battery and to solar panel) were labeled.

Amazon had wiring with connectors to fit the roof fittings to the panel and to wire up controller.

I have two 200W panels and a 100/30 MPPT.
I'm planning on adding another two 200W panels.
I wish I had bought a bigger MPPT in the beginning.
I'll need to upgrade my MPPT after I add the new panels. Probably a Victron 150/70.
And I'll need to run new wiring. The factory pre installed solar wiring is 10 gauge. It can only carry 30A max. The 150/70 puts out 70A to the batteries.

I have a 400. I dry camp about 50& of the time and so far the 400 has has worked great. I don't run my AC's, heat pump or fireplace while dry camping. I top off the batteries just before I go to bed for about 20 minuets. Shut off the inverter at night and the batteries are fine in the morning. Not sure why I'd need more panels.

I was wondering if there is any reason not to just connect the solar wires (with the 30 amp fuse) found by the batteries to the solar controller, then heavier wires from the controller to the batteries. I thought I read that the large wires from the controller to the batteries should be as short as possible.

Wayne,

If using the existing wiring you will be fine as long as you don't exceed 30 amps.

I put two 200 watt panels on a 373RD and 3-100ah lithium batteries. Installed a switch between panels and charger controller. This allows disconnecting system from panels. Replace ALL the self healing breakers and wired breakers direct with larger wire size matched to breaker size. Leveling issues are gone.
