Rubber molding loose

The rubber molding (approx. 6 ft.) keeps coming loose on the front corner of my 3295RK. I must have scraped it against a tree limb but there is no visible scratch. It is only held by some caulk at the top end of the rubber molding. I worked it all back in the groove by using a small screwdriver and may have pushed it in farther than necessary because it fell out again. It looks like there is a slot on each side of the molding that would slip over each side of the metal rib held on with screws. Maybe I need to caulk the bottom end when I put it in the next time. What recommendations does anyone have to help me fix this?
