If the camper feels like it is jerking when you apply the brakes, the camper brakes are probably actuating too soon. I don't know what kind of brake controller you have, but with our Prodigy if the boost is set on 3, the camper does jerk when braking. Backing the boost off to 2 seems to solve the problem. Be sure to so the 25 mph set-up procedure that is described in the brake controller owner's manual, to insure that the controller is set properly. I hope this is all that it will take to solve your problems, if not let us know and I am sure some brake experts will chime in. I am merely trying to help by giving our experience.
