A quick end to our travels

Today we lost everything on our maiden voyage to full time travels. Me and my wife are physically fine but we lost one of the cats after we crashed when he took off running. The wind took the rig and blew me over. Nothing i could do.
Hopefully this won't discourage my wife too much as I really do want to travel more

So sorry to see and hear of this, probably every camper's nightmare. Thank god you and your wife were not injured.

I am so sorry for you guys. That is really bad. Makes all our other complaints here seem trivial.

So sorry this has happened to you. What a scary experience.

The most important things in life are physically fine as you say. All that other stuff can be replaced in time.

Good luck going forward.

Wow, that must of been terrifying. Happy you both came away without injuries. Sounds like the worst possible timing though. Tell your wife that nothing else could be as bad as this, so everything else will be an improvement!

Things like this happen and sometimes we have no control. It is very rare and will never happen to you again.
Glad you both are ok.

My wife turned out just has a sprain and we were able find almost all of our important items intact. Still no cat though so we are praying he makes it through the night and someone finds him. We are going back to the wreck tomorrow to keep looking for him

Phew! Glad that you and wife are OK and hope the cat reappears. The truck and 5er are just 'stuff' that can be replaced, and hope that you can continue with a new rig soon
