Slow draining kitchen
During normal use, the kitchen sinks seem to drain quite well.
While running water into the sink to fill the gray prior to a dump, the water started backing up into both kitchen sinks.
I turned the water off and filled the gray tank with water from the shower. The gray tank filled OK. The dump went well. Refilling of the black tank went well.
After about 30 minutes, the water in both kitchen sinks finally went out of sight.
Is there a drain valve for the kitchen sinks?
What is a galley tank?
TIA
P.S. This was my first outing in an RV.

JudoMD,
Welcome to the MOC.
Most models of the Montana have 3 waste tanks. The galley tank is the one for the kitchen. The release valve for it is generally located near the driver side rear of the trailer. On some models it is located between the wheels.... still on the driver side of the trailer. What model Montana do you have? I'm sure someone with the same model can tell you exactly where the valve is located.

I have the same model as you.Your valve for the kitchen sink is between the 2 wheels underneath your slide.

Thanks HarleyRider;
I found the lever between the two left wheels. When I pull it to open it, where does the water from the kitchen go?

It will come out the same sewer hose hookup as everything else. What I always do is empty the black water tank first, then the galley and they the grey water. This way the sewer hose is rinsed out pretty well.

I thought maybe that's where it went, but was not sure.
Thanks for the info.
