Roadside America
During our last journey, Steve R told me about www.roadsideamerica.com and we started using it to find unusual places to go and see. We found some really interesting sites. While camped in Welcome, MN to see the statue of The Jolly Green Giant and Hermann the German in nearby towns, we found an interesting water drinking fountain in downtown Welcome. It was built years ago so that both horses and humans could drink from it. We photographed it and placed it on our blog and Facebook pages and, for the heck of it, sent it to Roadside America for consideration. They accepted it and now it is listed there! WOW! We get nothing from this site but interesting places to see when we are traveling.

I'm glad you liked the link, Jim. We have seen some interesting things including those shown below that we would not otherwise have known about. Jim, you got your name in the roadside america site, too.
One of these is a lizard or snake head, I'm not sure which.

Steve,
I think the top one is a Bald Eagle, I guess the bottom one would then be your reptile. Those are clever, though, vandalism comes to mind... ha ha
