I purchased SAMS batteries form my 2005 F350. Went on a trip to New England about 2 months later and had to replace one in Mass. I went with the Ford OEM batteries and they were doing good when I sold it. I believe those are Delco or FordMoCo batteries.

I used to buy whatever was on sale or cheapest. I've since decided to stay with FOMOCO products. May cost a little more but I'm determined to have Ford do all my repairs. I've been taken too many times by "independent" mechanics.

Amen to Orv. I have GM so I stick with Delco. Ive had to many problems with Auto Zone and cut rate batteries. Nationals are pretty fair.

According to Consumer Reports Interstate batteries are good.

My truck is 10 years old now and just last year I replaced the stock batteries. I went with Optima red tops this time. No more corroded posts.

After many phone calls to check price and warranty. I have decided to go with the Ford battery. The main reason you can always find a Ford dealer and 4 years out of a the last Ford batteries is not that bad.
Thanks for the input.
