Getting closer
Well my new Dodge is now in Mira Loma CA. It got here sooner than I antisapated.
I have decided not to use the old truck for a trade in, I'll sell it PP I talked to my mechanic and he said I should have no truble selling it, so I'm going to try.

Truck is unloaded, and on it's way to Cerritos Dodge.
Also nice seeing you and yours, Doug, love that new Montyhome you got.
OK Ray I'll try to get you some of that New truck smell, and post it on the forum. I'm working on a new scratch and sniff program for this site, so far I have had good results when posted, no complaints yet.

Now you got me anticipating your pickup's arrival. Might try a zip upload of scratch~n~sniff. Better for big files.

Don, hope you can sell your truck quickly. I've been trying to sell our 94 Suburban, we used to tow our old trailer, for a year. No dice.

Thats what Truck and Trader is for. I'm sure I'll sell it because 1 its a truck and guys in construction need them for there work pluss it's in great working order. all we can do is advertise it and hope for the best. Im in no hurry to sell it, but it would be nice if it happens.

OK here is the scoop on the truck, IT'S Great, Lots of power, much more that my 7.3 with all the banks stuff I added. It has just about every option I could ever want, I'm spoiled already. I started out getting 12.9 MPG @ 11 miles on TV new, now at 200 miles its up to 14.9 MPG I hope it keeps going up in that area.
There are a few things I dont like on this TV and that is the new front end, I cant seem to get a referacne point, to how close I am to any object in the front of me before I hit the bumper, where the Ford the end of the hood and add 6 inches you were there.
I guess I'll get one of those feelers that the big rigs use on there bumpers. Gawd, Eah Haw, Ya Ya Ya. next will be those little white cotton balls around the windows, I think Georgia will put her foot down for that.
I will get CW to install the Reese Rails for the hitch next week.

Sold the old Ford this afternoon the people came all the way from Q-site AZ. I got 1800. less than I wanted but it was a 3 times more than Dodge was going to give me on the trade-in ($2500 at the dealer.) Not to bad just listed it in the Car and Trader dot com.
How fortunate can a person be less than 5 days.
If you want to look at the add here's where it is at.
http://www.autotrader.com/myatc/my_s...istration=true
Look under, Ford, F350, 1996, private party, Zip 90670, $8000.
I have 2 adds the first one is for the magazine not a lot of information on it, and the second one is for the web site it has 7 pictures and all the information on the truck.

Don..Had the same complaint with that big ole square front 08 F-350. I got a pair of those bumper mounted lights and they help in identifying where the front end is.

Thanks Rich I was thinking about them, where did you get yours, and do they have lights for the night.
