New Register Old Montana Repairs

Hi to all,
I'm have a older 2003 Montana and am trying to revive the functions that have become inoperable so that I can go back on the road.
I hope there are willing folks out there that can help me attain my goals.

Thanks

I have problems with a Dometic refrigerator not working. No leaks present.
I need new hydraulic rams for slide outs and the slide pump leaks (on going problem)

Creating separate Posts for each problem area, as you just did for the refer issue, is the best way to go.

I have a 2003 Montana 2850 and the hydraulic pump leaked for several years due to a poorly engineered reservoir. I finally had to replace it with a new pump at a coast of almost $1000. The bedroom slide ram also leaks but I learned to live with it. I had to replace the Dometic fridge after about 15 years due to leaking ammonia. These were expensive repairs/replacements, but the 2003 is still way ahead of my 2014 Montana HC in quality.

I have an 02 Montana 3280RL. In the 3+ years I've owned it I've had to: Repair hydraulics, upgrade the suspension, new brakes, flat screen upgrade, install new unit in refrig, re-caulk exterior, coat roof, new grey and black tanks, and new decals.

Currently between trips, so I'm replacing refrig gaskets and trying to repair oven thermostat.

The rig already had an Onan generator, I've also done a bunch of upgrades: 200 watt solar, 1200 watt inverter, Winegard Trav'ler, four 6 volt batteries, Seelevel gauge, Dometic 310 toilet.

It takes a lot to keep these rigs on the road. Fortunate that I've been able to do all of the work myself, so my cost is the parts and wrecking my body. It's good as new, I keep it that way.

We much prefer our layout to anything new that we've seen.
