LED reading light in bedroom slideout not working

One of the reading lights in the slide out over the bed quit working suddenly. Are these lights hard wired into the trailer or are they just battery powered stick ons? How do you remove them without damaging the trailer? It is round with a switch on it.

Grasp the lens and turn it counterclockwise, it will come off. You will then see 2 or 3 screws holding the light assembly to the slide ceiling. Carefully pull the wiring down from the hole and you will see a crimp fitting in the wiring. You will need to cut the wires, remove the crimp fittings and install a new light. You can find them at Trekwood.com or Camping World for example. About $21 or so. Easy. I replaced one of mine that would not turn off. I have the 2018.5 3791RD.

When you pull the light down, look at the switch and make sure that the nut on the microswitch is not loose. If it is, just tighten it and it should work.
