Frame Problems - Bedroom Slide won't close
I have a 2002 3295RK. Bought it used from a dealer in Texas. After joining this group started reading about frame problems - called Keystone and was assured my year model has the beefed up frame.
Used my rig over the New Year weekend and noticed a small separation as the weight transferred onto the kingpin. The separation is along the horizontal mold line directly below the forward corner of the bedroom slide. When the weight is transferred from the kingpin to the parking jacks, the separation disappears.
After retuturning from the New Year weekend outing I winterized and cleaned. As I was closing up the slides, the bedroom (fist slide to move) did not close all the way (remained out 2-3 inches). I exercised the slide a couple more times but with no improvement.
I am very concerned about what Keystone is going to do to help me with this latent defect - one that has been discussed by many members owning a wide variety of models.
