2021 Montana 3120 frame question/ refer

I have a 2021 3120 that I’m installing a NorCold dc20 refrigerator. I am running the 6 gauge wire behind the cabinets, oven , fireplace to the rear of the slide , and down and out to the external wiring harness that is attached to the slide and the I- beam frame . On the frame , near the harness , there is an approximately 1” hole with a washer welded over the hole . I’m planing to run the wire onto the harness , then through that hole , and under the pan and insulation to the breaker panel . My question is , does anyone know what the purpose of that hole is?

There is a hole in the frame in that area on ours that the water line exits the belly through and connects to the line on the slide that feeds the ice maker/water dispenser. We have the residential fridge. Maybe they weld a washer over it on the 3120 ? Just a guess.

Thank you. That is helpful. Just curious, how does that waterline flex as the slide go in and out?

The line that it attaches to is a flexible hose. Here is a pic with the slide extended. In this picture I have them disconnected and capped off. The trailer was winterized at the time of this picture and I leave them like that for our travels south when it is freezing up here in the north. The blue line has pink in it and I prefer not to have any pink get into the fridge line. The hose that leads to the fridge I just blow out with air in the fall. After the pink is all flushed out good I reconnect the two lines.
