Emergency light.

The door side flood light, the pin box light, and the step light on my 2010 3400RL. Has a habit of all coming on by themselves. Inside switch is off. The four years I’ve had her this has happened around a dozen times. It was always an easy fix, you just had to use the remote and click the “emergency light” button and they went off. Not this time. Put a new battery in the remote and it still won’t shut off. Has anyone else had this little gremlin emergency light problem, and how did you fix it. I’m currently on my way to Texas for the winter, so I’ll work on it when I get there next week. Any tips would be appreciated.. Thanks in advance.

I would guess the switch on the control panel has probably failed inside the switch itself. I had to replace one on our rig a couple years ago, and the parts inside were broken. The switches on our panel have the red rocker that lights when the switch is on. I was able to get it from Trekwood after a couple questions from the lady there so she made sure to get the right one.

That's the main reason we took the batteries out of the remote when we first bought the rig and never used it. Back then there were a number of threads on the forum about a problem with the receiver, for the remote, and it's grounding. I only remember that it had to do with moving the ground somehow or replacing the receiver. Hopefully someone who had the problem and actually fixed it will be along sometime soon.
